The product extends the versatility of glass facades offering a large number of aesthetical solutions and performances, like curved structures proved through a large number of prestigious applications all over the world.
However although aesthetical possibilities are considerable, the key to the success of the Pilkington Profilit are its flexibility and simplicity.
These qualities enable architects to create particular effects through the use of natural light and without using particularly complicated processes.
The unusual “U-shape” produces a considerable strength through the canal, which can be installed at high levels or in large widths without further horizontal or vertical supports to create curves or other particular shapes.
The system offers exceptional performances in light permeability and sound and heat insulation.
There are several options in colours, structures and installation sizes, which combined with the system flexibility, allow an extraordinary versatility.
Pilkington Profilit can offer solar protection - using antisol - and reduction of energy consumption - using plus.
